Reading the dashboard

Reading the live dashboard: the scoreboard at the top, what each account row shows, turning accounts on or off, and where order history lives.

Updated August 4, 2026

The dashboard is your live control room. It shows every account you copy to, what each one is holding right now, and how the day is going, all updating in real time. Here's how to read it at a glance.

The scoreboard up top

A three-part summary sits above everything else, totalled across all your accounts (leader and followers together):

  • Active Accounts. How many accounts are switched on out of your total, plus how many are currently in a position.
  • Day P&L. Your combined profit and loss for the day so far, closed trades included.
  • Open P&L. The unrealised profit and loss of everything you're still holding.

Accounts, laid out automatically

The dashboard picks the right layout for you - there is nothing to configure:

  • No active groups? Rows sit under the broker connection they belong to. Each connection header carries its own rolled-up Day P&L, and you can collapse a connection to tuck its accounts away.
  • At least one active group with a leader? Rows bucket under their trading group instead, each group showing a colour swatch and its own combined Day P&L. Accounts that aren't in an active group fall under Ungrouped.

The switch happens on its own: assign a leader to your first group and the dashboard reorganises around your groups immediately; pause or delete your last group and it returns to the flat per-connection view. To add or re-enable the accounts under a connection, see Manage the accounts in a connection.

Reading a single row

Each account is one row. Left to right, a row tells you:

  • Status and role. A small dot shows whether the account is copying (green) or switched off (red). The leader account wears a crown and a Leader label; everything else is a Follower. An account under a timed lockout shows a Locked badge in place of its on/off toggle.
  • Account name, with its group shown beneath it in the Accounts view.
  • Live position. The Symbol it's in, the Qty with a direction arrow (up for long, down for short), and the average fill Price. A flat account shows a dash here.
  • Balance. The account's starting balance plus its closed profit and loss plus anything still open, the same figure your broker shows mid-session.
  • Day P&L and Open P&L for that one account.
  • Sizing. How this follower is scaled: a multiplier like ×2 (with an arrow when cross-order is on), or a fixed contract count such as 10 micro. Leaders show a dash, since they drive copies rather than copy. See Followers & multipliers for the detail.
  • Actions. A per-row Flatten that lights up only when the account is holding a position. On a group leader's row it flattens the whole group at once.

Turning accounts on and off

Each follower has an on/off toggle right in its row, so you can pause or resume copying to one account without touching the rest. Enable All / Disable All flips every follower together. Leader accounts are left out of the bulk switch: they drive the copies, so they're never toggled off by accident. If no leader is set, or the current leader's connection is off, a banner prompts you to pick one.

Order history

Below the accounts, an Order History section expands to show the orders OmenSyncer has sent. Tabs filter it by All, Working, Filled, Cancelled, and Failed, and each row lists the account, connection, time, contract, type, quantity, price, and status. A working order can be cancelled straight from its row.

Quick actions and settings

The toolbar keeps the buttons you reach for most within a click. Refresh pulls the latest, and PNL Card builds a shareable snapshot of your day. Flatten All and Cancel All are covered in Flatten All & Cancel All. The settings gear opens a small panel for:

  • Execution Mode. Whether followers enter as market or limit orders. See Market vs Limit execution.
  • Follower Protection. Keeps followers in step with the leader. See Follower protection.
  • Display. Toggles to show or hide the Balance and Account Name columns, so you can slim the table down.
