Flatten All & Cancel All
Flatten All closes every open position; Cancel All pulls every working order. What each one touches, and why the difference matters mid-trade.
Updated
Two buttons let you clear everything at once: Flatten All closes your open positions, and Cancel All clears your resting orders. Here's exactly what each one does and how they differ.
Flatten All vs Cancel All
| Flatten All | Cancel All | |
|---|---|---|
| Open positions | Closed at market | Left untouched |
| Working orders | Cancelled too | Cancelled |
| Covers the leader | Yes | Yes |
| Covers followers | Yes | Yes |
Flatten All
Flatten All is the panic button. It closes every open position at market across all your accounts, and then cancels any working orders left behind so you're not sitting on orphaned brackets. It covers the leader as well as every follower, so one press exits the whole setup.
Each position is closed the same way your broker's own "exit at market and cancel" does: the current net position is read and closed, and that contract's working orders are cancelled at the same time. If an account is already flat, nothing happens to it.
Cancel All
Cancel All clears working orders only: resting limit orders, stop orders, and bracket legs waiting to fill. It does not close any open position. If you're in a trade, you stay in it, without the pending orders around it.
It reaches every account, leader included, and clears both the orders OmenSyncer placed and any it didn't: the leader's own orders, or orders you put on a follower by hand.
