Follower protection
How follower protection closes a position the leader no longer holds, and how it leaves trades you opened by hand alone.

Follower Protection makes sure a follower is never left holding a position the leader has already exited. When the leader closes or goes flat on a position, OmenSyncer closes your followers on that position too.
What it does
Copying gets followers into a trade. Protection gets them out. The moment your leader is flat in a symbol, meaning its position in that contract has gone to zero, OmenSyncer closes every follower that copies that leader in the same symbol. It governs exits, not entries, and it's on by default.
OmenSyncer waits a brief moment before closing followers so a leader that flicks flat and straight back into the trade doesn't churn your followers out and back in. Only accounts that copy that leader are touched: members of a group are protected by their own group leader, ungrouped accounts by the global leader.
Trades you opened by hand
By default, protection only closes positions that came from a copied leader trade. A position you opened directly on a follower yourself is left alone, even when the leader goes flat. Turn the Close manual trades setting on only if you never want a follower to hold anything the leader isn't in.
