Alerts & notifications
How OmenSyncer alerts reach you, the order-fail, rate-limit and reconnect alerts you might see, and choosing which ones reach your phone.

OmenSyncer watches your copying and tells you the moment something needs attention: a follower order that failed, a connection that dropped, a risk limit that tripped. Alerts come to you, so you don't have to go looking for them.
How alerts reach you
On the web and in the desktop app, an alert slides in as a small card in the bottom-right corner for a few seconds. Click anywhere on it to dismiss it. There's no inbox to keep clean: each alert is a moment-in-time heads-up, and it clears itself once the underlying issue is resolved. On a phone where you've installed the OmenSyncer app, the same alerts arrive as real system push notifications instead, so you get them even when the app isn't open.
The alerts you might see
Alerts fall into three levels. The colour on each alert matches its level, so you can gauge how urgent it is at a glance.
Critical: something's wrong, money may be at stake

| Order failed | A follower order didn’t place. Often a token that rotated, a locked position, or a contract the broker rejected. |
| Risk breach | An account crossed a risk limit you set and was stopped. See Risk rules & lockouts. |
| Orphan position | A position exists with no tracked order behind it, often a fill placed outside OmenSyncer. See connection troubleshooting. |
| Auto-lockout | An account was locked automatically after hitting a daily loss or profit limit, and stays paused until the daily reset. See Risk rules & lockouts. |
| Follower protection | A follower was pulled back into line with the leader. See Follower protection. |
| Missing symbol map | A contract has no equivalent on a follower’s broker, so that follower skipped the trade rather than guess. See Cross-broker copying. |
| Position mismatch | A follower’s position drifted out of step with the leader’s and needs a look. |

| Circuit open | Repeated order failures on one account tripped its safety breaker. OmenSyncer flags it so you can look into what’s failing, but it keeps copying and never auto-pauses an account. |
| Reconnect needed | A broker connection dropped and needs to reconnect before it can copy again. |
| Token expiring | A broker sign-in expires soon. Re-authenticate before it lapses or copies will start failing. |

Routine and good news

| Broker reconnected | A connection that had dropped is back online. |
| Trade copied | A follower filled a copied trade. Handy as a play-by-play, but noisy. |
| Position closed | The leader closed a position. Includes the realized profit and loss. |
| Daily P&L | An end-of-day recap of total profit and loss and trade count. |
| Leader changed | The account driving your copies was switched. |
| New sign-in | Your account was signed in to from a new device. |
Choosing what you're notified about
Open Settings and the Notifications tab to choose which alerts reach you. Critical alerts are permanently enabled because they require immediate attention. For example, Order Failed displays an "Always on" badge instead of a toggle. The remaining notifications can be switched on or off:
- Orphan Position. A position with no tracked order behind it.
- Trade Copied. Fires on every follower fill. Off by default, since it's noisy; turn it on if you want a play-by-play.
- Position Closed. Fires when the leader closes a position, with the realized profit and loss.
- Broker Reconnected. A dropped connection coming back online.
- Token Expiring Soon. A broker sign-in due to expire within a week.
- Daily P&L Summary. The end-of-day recap.
Hover any row to see exactly what triggers it. If you're on a phone with the OmenSyncer app installed, a switch at the top of the same screen turns on system push so these alerts fire as notifications on your device.
