Brackets, TP/SL & OCO
How take profit, stop loss and OCO brackets replicate to followers, and what happens when the leader moves a target or stop after the entry fills.
Updated
If your leader attaches a take profit or stop loss to a trade, OmenSyncer copies that protection to every follower at the same price levels. If you move a target or stop, your followers move too.
What gets copied
A bracket is an entry order with protection attached: a take profit that closes you in profit at a set price, and a stop loss that closes you if price goes against you. A leader can attach one, both, or neither.
When your leader fills, OmenSyncer copies whatever protection was on that order to each follower at the leader's own target and stop prices, not an offset. So the follower is protected at the same levels the leader chose.
| Leader order | What the follower gets |
|---|---|
| No TP or SL | The entry only. |
| Take profit and/or stop loss | The entry plus a matching take profit and stop loss. |
If the leader moves a target or stop
If your leader adjusts the take profit or stop loss after entry, say trailing the stop up as the trade works, OmenSyncer copies the new price to each follower and updates the matching protection to match. When one side fills, the other is cancelled for you, so nothing is left hanging after the trade closes.
