Cancel or refund

You can cancel any time, and you keep everything you have paid for until the end of the current period. Cancelling takes effect at the end of that period, not immediately, and you can undo it any time before the end date.

How to cancel

1. Go to Account, then Subscription.
2. On the Plan tab, click Cancel next to Manage on your current plan card.
3. Read the confirmation, which shows the date your access ends, then confirm.

The same Cancel action is also on the Billing tab, in the Subscription section. Either place does the same thing.

What happens to your access

Cancelling schedules your subscription to end at the close of the period you have already paid for. Until that date, nothing changes: your plan stays fully active and copying keeps working. You will not be charged again. When the end date arrives, your plan lapses and copying stops.

While a cancellation is pending, the page shows a note reading "Cancels on date. You won't be charged again," and the Cancel button changes to a Cancellation pending label.

Changed your mind? Resume

Any time before the end date, you can undo the cancellation with the Resume subscription button that appears on that same note. Resuming keeps you on your plan and your normal renewals continue as if you had never cancelled.

Refunds

Cancelling does not refund the current period. You keep access through to the end of what you have paid for instead of getting money back for the unused days. The same is true when you downgrade: the switch happens at your next renewal, with no charge and no refund for the period in progress.
