Core concepts: accounts, leaders & followers
The vocabulary: connections versus accounts, leaders and followers, per-account multipliers, and what demo and live mean on a prop platform.

A few terms come up all over OmenSyncer. Get these down and both the rest of the docs and your own account will make a lot more sense.

| Connection | One broker or prop firm login you link to OmenSyncer. A single connection can expose many trading accounts. |
| Account | One individual trading account under a connection: an evaluation, a funded account, or your personal account. |
| Leader | The account you actually trade in. Its fills get copied to your followers. |
| Follower | Any account that copies a leader. Each has its own size multiplier. |
| Group | A set of accounts with their own leader, so they copy separately from the rest. |
Connections vs accounts
When you link a broker, you add a connection (a login). That one login often controls several accounts, for example a prop firm might give you three evaluations and two funded accounts under the same login. OmenSyncer pulls them all in, and you decide which ones copy and at what size. See How connections work.
Leaders and followers
You mark one account as the global leader. Every follower that isn't in a group copies it. To have some accounts copy a different account instead, put them in a group and give the group its own group leader. Here's who copies whom:

| Grouped follower | Its group’s leader (not the global leader). |

Multipliers
Every follower has a multiplier that scales its size relative to the leader. It is a whole number from 1 to 100: 1 copies the leader at the same size, 2 doubles it,3 triples it, and so on. This is how larger accounts trade proportionally bigger.
Demo and live accounts
OmenSyncer labels accounts as demo or live. Here's what each means:
