Connect Tradovate & NinjaTrader
Link a Tradovate or NinjaTrader login using OAuth so no password reaches us, which accounts appear afterwards, and how to fix a connection that fails.

Tradovate and NinjaTrader run on the same rail, so you connect them the same way: a secure “Login with Tradovate” handoff. You never type a trading password into OmenSyncer.
What you need

How the connection works
OmenSyncer signs you in with OAuth, the same “sign in with” flow you know from other apps. You're sent to the broker's site to authorise OmenSyncer, then returned automatically. Your password stays with the broker; OmenSyncer only holds the access token it hands back. NinjaTrader accounts are Tradovate accounts under a different brand, so these steps cover both.
Connect the account
- Go to Connections and click Add a connection.
- Name the connection, then pick Tradovate or NinjaTrader.
- Choose the account type: Demo for a prop firm evaluation or funded account, or Live for your own real money account.
- Click Connect Tradovate account (or Connect NinjaTrader account, whichever you picked). You're redirected to the broker's website.
- Sign in there and approve the connection. The broker returns you to OmenSyncer automatically.
What appears after
Every account under that login appears on its own, ready to set as a leader or a follower. One connection can cover many accounts. See Managing your accounts for what to do next.
If it doesn't connect
If the redirect fails, no accounts appear, or the connection shows offline, work through Connection troubleshooting.
